Josh McCaghren is a freelance photographer originally from a small town in Texas. He is currently based in New York.

Having spent a few years assisting great photographers such as Joel Stans, Dennis Leupold, Ryan Jenq, Rikky Fernandes, Heather Moore, Julia Robbs, Joanna McClure, Hunter & Gatti, Benjamin Lennox, among others, he is currently transitioning to dedicate his full focus to his photography career.

Originally interested in building a strong fashion and portrait portfolio, his first client ended up being a haircare company, that eventually led to several national print ad campaigns for them that landed his work in major beauty publications (Marie Claire, Allure, etc.). Taking the hint from the universe, he has since focused his efforts in specializing in beauty and still life work, often with cosmetics and fragrances.

Other select works have been featured in ads or interviews for Vogue.com, Wmag.com, InStyle, Teen Vogue, VAR, Modern Salon, Anthem, and Estetica, among other publications.
